Happy 5th Birthday, Saul!

When Saul was about 1 year old I started thinking, " If he makes it to 5 then I've been successful" I'm pleased to announce Saul is officially 5. Not only that, by the grace of God, he's not had any broken bones or even stitches. He's turning into quite the funny little guy and just seems to love life. He had his Kindergarten screening on Friday and his Kindergarten teacher said she had no concerns....I guess I have the summer to get used to having my "baby" become a school-aged child. :)

We were fortunate to celebrate Saul's birthday at Busch Gardens with Nama, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and matching t-shirts! Here is one of the pics from that day. Saul also rode his first up-side down roller coaster too!

Here is a pic of Saul's "Dinosaur Attack Cake" It was motion sensored dinosaur that roared as you walked by! Perfect!

Here is a pic of the birthday boy on his birthday. Lucky for me his birthday was on Thursday so he didn't have school that day. I got to spend the whole day with him. He started his day, by opening his new remote controlled spider from Matt and I. Then he got to bring Sydney to school in his PJ's. We got home and he wanted to do a little wii. Then we headed to the $1 store where I gave him a dollar and he bought himself 4 new compasses! Next we headed to McDonald's with a play place and then headed home and found 2 more packages on the front porch. We had pizza and cupcakes for dinner and for the Grand Finale' he got to have his favorite babsitter over. Overall it was a great day! -

One of Saul's favorite things to do! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Easter Eggs!

Last Sunday we colored Easter eggs with a couple of my friends. We made a couple of scuba diving eggs, a Matt as Elvis egg and other sorts of designs with the "magic crayon." It was definitely the most creative egg session our family has ever had.

Saul was in his "I'm not cooperating" mood -

Party in a Box

Yesterday I had my Party in a Box courtesy of The Argenzianos. I got a fun box in the mail with all the fixn's for a party, including a mystery package I had to pick up our Walmart's photo lab! We had a great time and I got to eat another cake in honor of turning 32! Can't beat that. Here are some pics from our party.
